Featured Quilters
Twin sisters, Lisa and Lora will be our featured quilters for the Golden Thread Quilt Show. They are local designers and teachers and began Material Girlfriends in 2012 and have designed exclusive quilt patterns and Block of the Month patterns for Marcus Fabrics and Timeless treasures. As Marcus Fabrics textile designers, Lora and Lisa have designed several fabric lines that you can find at your local quilt shops. Their love of quilting is contagious, and they both eagerly share their passion with new and experienced quilters.

Quilt Show Challenge Quilts
Our members are getting their creative juices flowing for the 2024 challenge by creating a small quilt, no larger than 100 total inches around the edge, using black, white, and one color, no shades of a color, just choose one color. It can be smaller than 100 inches, but not larger due to limited display space.
